25 5/8in. nitro combination barrels with solid raised matt rib, flip-up open sights and bead fore-sight, the rib with banner marked 'SIMSON, SUHL (THURINGEN), 2 3/4in. shot chamber, bored approx. 1/4 choke, dated for 1968;
27 7/8in. nitro 12-bore shot barrels with ventilated matt top-rib, banner engraved 'SIMSON, SUHL (THURINGEN), 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, dated for 1970;
scroll-back action with side-bolsters, hold-open toplever, safety fixed in the 'off' position, gold pin cocking-indicators, set front trigger, bold Germanic scroll engraving surrounding game scenes of red deer, duck and partridge, old silver finish, 15in. pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, sling swivels, pistolgrip-cap, 1 1/8in. rubber recoil pad, fore-end wood on shot barrels with minor crack, weight 7lb. 13oz. (combination barrels) and 7lb. 5oz. (shot barrels), in a case with provision for both sets of barrels
